In the darkness, I pass by the concrete panel buildings. Each of their windows is a stage, a screen, a warm cell. I jump to the thought that sky-scrapers are essentially shelves for people - without wanting to pass judgment on that. Their lives flow as colorful light outward, reflecting off the interior before. I'm interested in structures and their shells - vessels that can hold something. Bags, containers, skin, houses; what gathers within and how it radiates outward as a temporary mass. The personal slide photos you see here are taken out of the context of a chronology and inserted into plastic frames as a collage. They create the impression of a still image, a sculpture, resembling a window collection observed during city walks.

"Hochhaus" was presented on the thirteenth floor of a real high-rise building. The sculpture, through the apartment window, was presented in juxtaposition to the surrounding buildings in the outdoor space. The glowing slides in the sculpture depicted everyday observations and quoted the windows as small still lifes of life.
